New Website from Atlantic Equine
Atlantic Equine have launched a new hoofcare and farriery products website on www.atlantic-equine.co.uk.
“Our old website was only five years old, but we realised that it was ancient in internet terms,” said Tony Lindsell, a director of the company.
“The old website did not allow us to put up images of products or product instructions, but we can do this now with ease, and much more, on the Content Management System.”
Targeted at hoofcare professionals of all kinds, the website contains four main sections – Equine Hoofcare, Bovine Hoofcare, Horseshoes and Nails, and Tools.
All the products for which Atlantic Equine is the UK importer and distributor (namely, Victory Racing Plates, Equilox, Vallorbe Rasps, SoundHorse Glue-on Shoes, the Elite Competition Shoe, Mondial Nails) are listed on the site, as well as many other hoofcare products, shoes, tools, adhesives and accessories.
The structure of www.atlantic-equine.co.uk allows visitors to order the required quantity of any one product in multiple sizes without having to move back and forth to the Shopping Basket. “We have tried to make the online shopping experience as simple and painless as possible, “ said Tony.
The Resource Centre on the site is designed to contain Product Instructions on many different regularly-used hoofcare products. The News section covers recent news, product updates, events and opportunities in the industry – anyone with any such news stories or other items they would like to post can email them to: tony@atlantic-equine.co.uk.
Visitors who wish to receive email updates on Special Offers and New Products can join the site’s email list via a simple form, and customers can check in their account the content of previous orders.
The site was designed by Athernet Solutions of Chorley, Lancashire and uses Secure Trading for its secure online payment system “This system provides a firewalled environment for credit card purchases which is far safer than paying by credit card over the telephone,” said Tony Lindsell.
Products are still being input on the site. Visitors are encouraged to email sales@atlantic-equine.co.uk if they do not yet find on it a product that they were used to buying on the old site.
